Yenny Wahid, daughter of Indonesia’s 4th President Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) and an alumna of Universitas Trisakti, emphasized that Indonesia is one of the pioneering nations of the global tolerance movement, renowned for its diversity.

“As a pluralistic nation, it is crucial for us to uphold the spirit of brotherhood, tolerance, and mutual respect. Indonesia has become one of the pioneers in this regard,” she stated during her keynote speech at the Universitas Trisakti Alumni Christmas Celebration in Jakarta on Saturday (January 18).
