Universitas Trisakti held the Inauguration and Handover Ceremony for the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs on May 13, 2024, on the 12th floor of Building M, Campus A of Universitas Trisakti. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN.Eng was officially inaugurated as the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs for the 2024-2029 term, replacing Prof. Ir. Asri Nugrahanti, M.S., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN.Eng. The event was attended by the Trisakti Foundation (Yayasan Trisakti), faculty members, administrative staff, students, and invited guests.

The inauguration ceremony began with the reading of the Trisakti Foundation Decree by Prof. Dr. Elfrida Ratnawati Gultom, S.H., M.Hum., M.Kn., Head of the Human Resources Administration Bureau at Universitas Trisakti. In the Decree No. KEP-19/YTS/2024, the Trisakti Foundation appointed Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN.Eng as the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs for the 2024-2029 period, replacing Prof. Ir. Asri Nugrahanti, M.S., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN.Eng.

The event continued with the Oath of Office for the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, led by the Chairperson of the Trisakti Foundation (based on the Minister of Law and Human Rights Decree No. AHU-0000310.AH.01.05. Tahun 2023 on the Approval of the Amendment of the Legal Entity of the Trisakti Foundation), Prof. Ainun Naim, Ph.D. Following this, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs signed the Handover Report, and the Chairperson of the Trisakti Foundation presented the Vice-Rector’s official insignia.

The Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, congratulated Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN.Eng and expressed gratitude to Prof. Ir. Asri Nugrahanti, M.S., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN.Eng for her dedication.

“We are confident that Dr. Burhannudinnur will lead this university towards a bright future, and we also extend our deepest thanks to Professor Asri for her countless contributions to advancing academics at Universitas Trisakti,” said Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Trisakti Foundation, Prof. Ainun Naim, Ph.D., expressed confidence in Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN.Eng’s ability to fulfill his new role effectively due to his extensive industry experience.

“Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN.Eng has experience in the industry, which is why I am confident he will be able to carry out his new academic responsibilities well,” stated Prof. Ainun Naim, Ph.D.

All parties agreed that this inauguration marks an important step forward in Universitas Trisakti’s journey toward greater academic excellence.
