On June 12, 2024, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) Universitas Trisakti held a special event, the Welcoming Ceremony for foreign students from Polytech Annecy and Polytech de Nantes, France. The event, held in the Meeting Room on the first floor of Building C, aimed to extend a warm welcome to the foreign students who will begin their two-week academic journey at Universitas Trisakti.

The event began with a welcome address from the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Dr. Ir. A. Hadi Prabowo, M.T., to the new students. This was followed by speeches from the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, and Vice Rector IV, Prof. Dr. drg. Tri Erri Astoeti, M.Kes., FISDPH., FISPD. The ceremony also provided an opportunity for the foreign students to meet their Indonesian peers. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, they exchanged information about culture, campus life, and their learning experiences at Universitas Trisakti.

The event was filled with joy and enthusiasm, creating beautiful memories for the new French students who had just joined the Universitas Trisakti family. The ceremony concluded with a performance by the Rector playing the harmonica and the Vice Rector IV playing the guitar, performing the song “You Are My Sunshine.” The attendees joined in singing and having fun together, with one of the foreign students, Simons, adding to the festivities by showcasing his guitar-playing talent. The event ended with everyone enjoying the provided refreshments.
