The Master of Architecture Program, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Universitas Trisakti, successfully organized the Waterfront Urban Cultural Heritage Workshop, an international seminar and collaborative workshop highlighting the importance of preserving waterfront areas as part of a city’s cultural heritage. The event was coordinated by Dr. Retna Ayu Puspatarini, ST., MT., from the Master of Architecture Program at FTSP Universitas Trisakti, in collaboration with Dr. Adrian Lo from Thammasat University.
The workshop was held in a hybrid format, taking place at the Auditorium, 9th Floor, Building C, Campus A of Universitas Trisakti, and online via Zoom Meeting.
The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Universitas Trisakti, Dr. Ir. A. Hadi Prabowo, MT., and was also attended by Dr. Ir. Lucia Helly Purwaningsih, MT., Head of the Master of Architecture Program at FTSP Universitas Trisakti.

The event explored various case studies and approaches to waterfront development in Bangkok, Kuching, and other urban areas, focusing on cultural preservation and adaptation to contemporary urban challenges.
At the end of the workshop, participants had the opportunity to present the results of their group discussions and case study analyses, marking the culmination of a collaborative learning experience.
This activity not only strengthened international networks among academics and practitioners but also reaffirmed the commitment of the Master of Architecture Program at FTSP Universitas Trisakti to promoting sustainable urban development grounded in cultural heritage preservation.
