The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Trisakti, welcomed a study visit from the Kulliyyah of Dentistry, International Islamic University Malaysia, on May 2, 2024. This study visit included Community Service Program (PKM) activities and Expert Lectures.

The Community Service Program (PKM) themed “Family Welfare Program” was conducted at 3 locations:

1. Grogol Subdistrict Hall
2. Grogol Subdistrict SKKT Building
3. Cideng Medika RPTRA Subdistrict Hall

After the PKM activities, the event continued with Expert Lectures at the B Campus Auditorium, Universitas Trisakti, featuring speakers:

1. Assoc Prof. Dr. Ahmad Faisal Ismail (Deputy Dean of Student Development & Community Engagement, Kulliyyah of Dentistry IIUM)
2. Asst Prof. Muhd. Firdaus Cha Musa (Deputy Dean of Academic and Internationalization, Kulliyyah of Dentistry IIUM)

The study visit aimed to broaden insights and deepen dental practice, while enhancing understanding of the differences and similarities in medical approaches between the two countries. The study visit was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Trisakti, and its officials, Universitas Trisakti students, as well as students and academic staff from IIUM.

The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Trisakti, drg. Wiwiek Poedjiastoeti, Sp.BMM., Ph.D, warmly welcomed the delegation from IIUM. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of international cooperation in enhancing the standards of dental education and practice in this era of globalization. She also expressed her hope that this visit could mark the beginning of broader cooperation between the two educational institutions, including student exchanges, faculty and staff exchanges, and joint research.
