Jakarta, October 11, 2024 – Universitas Trisakti received a visit from the Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA) to explore potential collaboration between the two institutions. The event took place at Universitas Trisakti’s Campus A and began with a welcome speech from Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc., IPM, Vice Rector I of Universitas Trisakti. In his remarks, he expressed great hopes that this meeting would mark the beginning of a productive and mutually beneficial collaboration, especially in the fields of education, research, and community service.

Following this, the Rector of Institut Teknologi Sumatera, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Pugeg Aryantha, emphasized the importance of synergy between higher education institutions to enhance the quality of education and research innovation in Indonesia. ITERA sees great potential for collaboration with Universitas Trisakti, particularly in the development of applied technology and science.

After the speeches from the university leaders, the event continued with a discussion led by Ir. Agus Guntoro, M.Si., Ph.D., Director of the Office of International Affairs, Collaboration, and Culture at Universitas Trisakti. The discussion covered various collaboration opportunities, including student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and the development of innovative programs that could positively impact society.

This visit serves as a promising first step in strengthening the relationship between Universitas Trisakti and the Institut Teknologi Sumatera, with hopes of materializing into concrete collaboration in the future.
