The intense competition in the job market lately has become a daunting prospect for fresh graduates. The high unemployment rate is partly due to the lack of confidence among undergraduate students. Companies also complain about the difficulty in finding the desired workforce due to unconvincing potential to meet their qualifications.

To address this issue, the Urban and Regional Planning Student Association of Universitas Trisakti organized the Plano Work event. Plano Work serves as an effective way to enhance the knowledge, understanding, skills, and abilities of Urban and Regional Planning students at Universitas Trisakti in promoting themselves through CVs, LinkedIn, and interviews as they prepare to enter the workforce.

The Plano Work event is conducted over one day with the following activities:

a) A session on how to create a CV presented by Mr. Andi Rahmatullah S.Kom., MM, a Character Building Trainer.

b) A session providing an overview of LinkedIn and how to prepare a portfolio for Urban and Regional Planning graduates, also presented by Mr. Andi Rahmatullah S.Kom., MM, a Character Building Trainer.

c) A session on the profession of urban planning with interview tips for Urban and Regional Planning students at Universitas Trisakti, presented by Rizal Imana S.PWK.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Studio Urama, 8th Floor, Building K, Universitas Trisakti. With the Plano Work event, it is hoped that Urban and Regional Planning students at Universitas Trisakti can increase their confidence and abilities in self-promotion through CVs, LinkedIn, interviews, and professionalism.
