Jakarta, May 22, 2025 — Universitas Trisakti reaffirmed its commitment to fostering international collaboration by hosting an official visit from Guangxi Minzu Normal University, China. The strategic meeting, held on the 9th floor of Building M at Trisakti University, marked a significant milestone in strengthening ties between the two institutions.

The event was opened by Prof. Dr. drg. Tri Erri Astoeti, M.Kes., FISDPH., FISPD, Vice Rector IV of Universitas Trisakti, who warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. Ma Ning, President of Guangxi Minzu Normal University, along with his delegation. In her opening remarks, Prof. Tri Erri emphasized the importance of cross-cultural and educational synergy in shaping a more open and collaborative future generation.

“This collaboration is a strategic move to expand our academic networks while promoting the rich cultural heritage of both institutions. We hope today’s discussions will serve as a solid foundation for concrete partnerships in the future,” she stated.

Also in attendance were the Director of the Office of International Affairs, Cooperation, and Culture; the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD); the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI); and the Director of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM).

The meeting featured in-depth discussions on the potential and importance of collaboration in education, student and faculty exchange programs, and cultural initiatives. Delegates from Guangxi Minzu Normal University showed great enthusiasm in learning about the unique and inclusive academic environment of Universitas Trisakti.

As a highlight of the visit, the delegation was taken on a campus tour to the Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD) and the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI). The visit provided firsthand insight into Trisakti University’s academic strengths and facilities, further reinforcing the potential for multidisciplinary cooperation between the two institutions.
