Jakarta — Universitas Trisakti has once again achieved international recognition by receiving the Emerald High Usage Awards 2025. This prestigious award is presented to academic institutions worldwide with the highest number of Emerald eJournal content downloads throughout 2025.

The award ceremony was held at the Universitas Trisakti Library and was attended by university leaders, including the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, and the Head of the University Library (UPT Perpustakaan), Rizka Medina, S.Hum., MM.

In her speech, Rizka Medina expressed that this achievement is the result of the collective efforts of the entire academic community at Universitas Trisakti in maximizing the use of Emerald’s collection to support academic and research activities. She further emphasized that this award reflects the library’s ongoing commitment to actively support research activities within the university.

The Emerald High Usage Award 2025 was officially presented by Mr. Irwan Sukardi, ST., MM., Business Manager of Emerald Indonesia, to the Rector of Universitas Trisakti. In his report, Mr. Sukardi announced that Universitas Trisakti ranked 12th globally among the top 20 academic institutions with the highest usage of Emerald eJournal content this year. The top 20 list includes six institutions from Indonesia, five from the United Kingdom, two from Malaysia, and others from Egypt, the United States, Australia, and China.

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA expressed pride in the Universitas Trisakti Library for securing this international recognition from Emerald Publishing and achieving the 12th position globally. He noted that in addition to Trisakti’s recognition in Asian university rankings, this award from Emerald — a renowned international publishing institution — further affirms Universitas Trisakti’s growing reputation and recognition in the global academic community.

Beyond being a special gift in celebration of Universitas Trisakti’s 60th Anniversary, this award is expected to further strengthen the university’s academic achievements and visibility on the international stage in the years to come.
