Jakarta – Universitas Trisakti once again took the spotlight as it was selected to host the Kick Off of the Online Scholarship Competition (OSC) Medcom.id 2025. The event, held at the Auditorium of Building D, Universitas Trisakti, on Thursday (August 21), marked the official opening of the OSC 2025 registration. For the past 11 years, OSC has been recognized as the largest online scholarship program in Indonesia.

The Kick Off OSC 2025 was attended by prominent figures, including Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Wamendiktisaintek) Stella Christie, Rector of Universitas Trisakti Prof. Kadarsah Suryadi, and Chairman of Surya Edukasi Bangsa Foundation as well as CEO of Media Group, Muhammad Mirdal Akib.

In his remarks, Prof. Kadarsah Suryadi, Rector of Universitas Trisakti, reaffirmed the university’s commitment to supporting the increase of the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) in higher education across Indonesia through its collaboration with OSC Medcom.id.

“The OSC Medcom.id scholarship can serve as an important instrument to expand access to higher education. The more young people pursue higher education, the greater the opportunities for prosperity and employment will be,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister Stella Christie praised the implementation of OSC Medcom.id 2025, emphasizing its role in providing opportunities for young people to continue their education, especially those facing financial barriers.

“This scholarship must be utilized to the fullest. With higher education, the younger generation can build a brighter future,” she said.

Registration for OSC Medcom.id 2025 is officially open from August 21 to November 12, 2025, through the official website osc.medcom.id.
