Jakarta – The Career Center of Trisakti University successfully held the Green Career Gate Roadshow II on Friday, 12 September 2025, at the Seminar Room, 12th Floor, Building M, Campus A, Universitas Trisakti, Grogol, West Jakarta.

Carrying the theme “Your Career, Your Climate Impact: Turning Passion into Purpose in the Age of the Climate Crisis,” the event aimed to equip students with the knowledge and inspiration to build careers that positively contribute to the environment.

The event was officially opened by Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, MT, Vice Rector III of Universitas Trisakti. In his remarks, he expressed full support for the initiative and emphasized the critical role of Universitas Trisakti students in addressing the challenges of the climate crisis.

“Students must view their careers not merely as a path to personal success, but also as a means to make meaningful contributions to environmental preservation and national sustainability,”

The program featured a lineup of inspiring speakers from various fields who are actively driving change toward sustainability.

The keynote speaker, Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian, MM, CIRR, CMA, CPM (Asia), highlighted the importance of the younger generation in tackling the climate crisis through the career paths they choose.

In addition, the event also featured:

• Guido van Hofwegen, Director and Co-Founder of Nazava Water Filters
• Herie Ferdian, Program Manager of Jejaring AMPL
• Hokkop Situngkir, Founder of IDNextLeader and Director of Biomass at PLN EPI

They shared their experiences, insights, and inspiration on how innovation, leadership, and collaboration can create career opportunities while contributing meaningfully to environmental sustainability.

The discussion session was moderated by Derifa Mariska, President of Green Career Gate, who guided the dialogue in an interactive manner, allowing students to freely engage, ask questions, and gain firsthand insights from the speakers.

The Green Career Gate Roadshow II was a collaborative effort between the Universitas Trisakti Career Center, Green Career Gate, and several partners, including Enter Nusantara, Jejaring AMPL, ID Next Leader, and other career centers.

Through this initiative, Universitas Trisakti hopes to further motivate students to channel their passions into careers that not only bring personal fulfillment but also create a positive impact on society and the planet.
