Jakarta, August 20, 2025 – Universitas Trisakti held an Academic Collaboration Forum in partnership with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and a delegation from Indian higher education institutions. The forum took place on the 12th floor of Gedung M, Universitas Trisakti.

This forum served as an important platform to strengthen academic cooperation between Indonesia and India, particularly in higher education, research, student exchange, and the development of international curricula. The Indian delegation included representatives from various universities and educational institutions under FICCI, while Universitas Trisakti was represented by university leaders and faculty members from across its departments.

The event began with welcoming remarks from Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, Rector of Universitas Trisakti, who warmly received the delegation from Indian universities and expressed his optimism about future collaborations. This was followed by speeches from Lt. Gen. (Dr.) MD Venkatesh of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Dr. Rajesh Pankaj from FICCI, who also emphasized India’s commitment to building mutually beneficial partnerships with Universitas Trisakti and Indonesia at large.

Moderated by Ir. Agus Guntoro, MSi, PhD, Director of the Office of International, Cooperation, and Cultural Affairs (KUIKK), the forum explored opportunities for collaboration in joint research, student exchange, double degree programs, and other potential initiatives. Both sides also discussed the importance of innovation partnerships in technology and entrepreneurship as a means to advance higher education in the future.

The forum marked a significant step toward strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and India, particularly in developing human resources that are globally competitive and of high quality in the field of education.
