Universitas Trisakti organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in collaboration with the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the 12th floor of Building M. This event is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance academic quality and institutional governance in higher education.

The event was officially opened by the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, who, in his opening remarks, emphasized the importance of synergy between higher education institutions and national accreditation bodies in creating a high-quality and globally competitive education system.

The session featured Prof. Dr. Ir. Ari Purbayanto, M.Sc., Director of the BAN-PT Executive Board, as the keynote speaker. In his presentation, he outlined the latest policies and mechanisms in the accreditation process and shared strategies for how universities can best prepare for these changes.

The discussion was moderated by Dr. Ir. Docki Saraswati, M.Eng, IPU, Director of Universitas Trisakti’s Quality Assurance Office, who led the session in an engaging and dynamic manner, encouraging active participation from attendees.

This event is expected to provide the academic community of Universitas Trisakti with deeper insights into the challenges and opportunities within higher education, particularly in relation to accreditation and institutional quality improvement.
