Universitas Trisakti Graduates 1,751 Students, Welcomes Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs and Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights as Guests of Honor

Jakarta, May 9, 2025 – Universitas Trisakti held its Odd Semester Graduation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 Academic Year on Friday (May 9) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), celebrating graduates from Doctoral, Master’s, Bachelor’s, Specialist, Professional, and Diploma programs. A total of 1,751 graduates were officially conferred their degrees in a solemn and proud ceremony.

The graduates comprised 84 Doctoral, 344 Master’s, 933 Bachelor’s, 14 Specialist, 286 Professional, 9 Diploma IV, and 81 Diploma III degree holders. With this addition, the total number of Universitas Trisakti alumni since its founding has reached 163,796.

In his address, the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, expressed his appreciation for the graduates’ achievements. He emphasized the importance of adapting to technological change and digital transformation, as well as Trisakti’s critical role in producing graduates who are excellent, professional, and uphold integrity.

The ceremony was also attended by several national figures who are members of the Trisakti Alumni Association (IKA TRISAKTI). The Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia and Chairman of IKATRISAKTI, Maman Abdurrahman, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging the graduates to become pioneers of innovation and creators of job opportunities.

The Deputy Minister of Immigration and Corrections, Silmy Karim, who also serves as a Supervisory Board Member of IKA TRISAKTI, was present to share a message on the importance of integrity and the alumni’s role in upholding the good name of their alma mater.

Notably, several high-ranking officials from the defense and security sectors were also among the graduates, including:

  • Major General (Marine Corps) Endi Supardi, currently serving as Commander of the Marine Corps (Kormar), who earned a Doctorate from the Faculty of Economics and Business.
  • Police Commissioner Dr. Luthfie Sulistiawan, S.I.K., M.H., M.Si., Chief of the Greater Surabaya Police Department (Polrestabes Surabaya), who completed a Doctoral degree in Law.

The presence and participation of these prominent figures underscore Universitas Trisakti’s continuing reputation as a trusted institution for developing top-tier human resources across sectors—from academia and government to defense and security leadership.

Through this graduation ceremony, Universitas Trisakti once again affirms its commitment to producing graduates who are not only ready to compete in the professional world, but also prepared to become future leaders who embody the university’s core values of Trikrama Trisakti: Knowledge, Integrity, and Service.
