The Universitas Trisakti Faculty of Law Alumni Association (IKA FH USAKTI) organized a social initiative in the form of a mass wedding on November 7, 2024, at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Grogol Petamburan, Jakarta. This program aims to help residents marry officially, simplify the marriage administration process, and provide legal status assurance for participating couples. This event marks the second phase of the mass wedding program initiated by IKA FH USAKTI.

Sahala Siahaan, Chairman of IKA FH USAKTI, stated that Trisakti Faculty of Law alumni are committed to continuously offering social programs that benefit the wider community.

“On behalf of Trisakti alumni, we will always support and offer programs that can help the community, including in matters of marriage,” said Sahala Siahaan.

Mister Lubis, Head of the Grogol Petamburan KUA, expressed his appreciation for the initiative taken by the Faculty of Law alumni.

“We are very grateful to the Trisakti Alumni Association for facilitating marriage for those in need. This program is very helpful, especially for those who may have faced challenges in the official marriage process,” he said.

The wedding guardian of one participant, Mahfud, also shared his happiness.

“I am very happy and feel at ease because my relative was able to marry officially through this mass wedding program. This has truly helped us,” he expressed.

With this mass wedding program, IKA FH USAKTI hopes that more couples can marry officially and be recognized by the state, in support of family integrity and community welfare.
