Universitas Trisakti Appointed by LLDIKTI III as the Lead University for the 2024 Smart Village PKM Program in Cianjur Regency, West Java

Together with other universities, including Bina Nusantara University, Universitas Nasional, Universitas Mercu Buana, ITP Trisakti, Universitas Budi Luhur, Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika, and Universitas Kristen Indonesia, Universitas Trisakti has been entrusted by LLDIKTI III as the Lead University (Mentor) for the 2024 Smart Village PKM (Community Service Program). This initiative involves at least three lecturers and five students from each participating university.

The Smart Village PKM program will run from April to December 2024, with activities focused on four villages in Cianjur Regency, West Java:

  1. Ciputri Village (Pacet Subdistrict)
  2. Ciherang Village (Pacet Subdistrict)
  3. Jamali Village (Mande Subdistrict)
  4. Kademangan Village (Mande Subdistrict)

Each village integrates six key pillars of the smart village concept:

  1. Smart Mobility
  2. Smart Economy
  3. Smart Living
  4. Smart Governance
  5. Smart Environment
  6. Smart People

Each village and pillar is managed by a Lead University, supported by several participating universities. The responsibilities of the Lead University include:

  • Developing proposals to ensure effective program implementation.
  • Leading and managing the PKM teams.
  • Monitoring and evaluating program execution.
  • Coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Compiling activity reports and presenting program outcomes.

Universitas Trisakti is specifically responsible for two pillars in Kademangan Village, Mande Subdistrict:

  1. Smart Village (led by Ir. Wawan Kurniawan, MT, IPM)
  2. Smart Environment (led by Ratna Mira Yojana, ST, MT)

Activities under Universitas Trisakti’s responsibility were conducted on October 23–24, 2024, with subsequent monitoring and evaluation on November 24, 2024. The team involved five Industrial Engineering students:

  • Muhammad Rafie Aliazri
  • Andini Octavia Nugroho
  • Elistriani
  • Aliffia Puri Indraswari
  • Inas Farihah

Beneficiaries

  • Smart Economy Team: 20 MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises).
  • Smart Environment Team: 40 PKK (Family Welfare Movement) women cadres in Kademangan Village.

Recognition and Next Steps

Universitas Trisakti received recognition from LLDIKTI III as the first university and primary driver of the Smart Village PKM initiative. The next steps include preparing detailed activity reports and presenting the program’s outcomes to LLDIKTI III in December 2024.
