News from the Student Activity Unit of Universitas Trisakti

Jakarta, August 26, 2024 – Universitas Trisakti is once again hosting the UKM Expo, an annual event aimed at introducing Student Activity Units (UKM) to new students. This event, held from August 26-31, 2024, took place in a lively atmosphere at Universitas Trisakti’s Campus A, Jakarta.

The UKM Expo 2024 featured more than 23 UKMs from various fields, ranging from arts, sports, science, to social and humanitarian activities. This expo serves as a platform for UKMs to showcase their creativity and activities to new students, while also encouraging them to join and actively participate in extracurricular activities.

In addition to the UKM exhibition booths, the event was enlivened by various performances from arts and cultural UKMs, such as traditional dances, campus bands, and theater shows. There were also various competitions and workshops organized by UKMs to attract the interest of new students.

One new student, Rina from the Faculty of Law, expressed her excitement about attending the UKM Expo.

“I can see firsthand the activities conducted by the UKMs and feel more motivated to participate. There are many interesting UKMs to choose from, and I feel more confident about joining one of them,” said Rina.

This year’s UKM Expo at Universitas Trisakti is expected to be the beginning of a journey for new students to discover their interests and talents, as well as to become part of an active and productive campus community.
