This year marks the fourth edition of the Summer Course organized by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, Warmadewa University.

The opening ceremony was officiated by the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Wahyuni Retnowulandari, SH, MHum, representing the Dean, followed by a welcome address from the Vice Dean for Partnerships and Student Affairs, Warmadewa University, Dr. I Made Aditya Mantara Putra, SH, MH, representing the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Warmadewa University. Prior to the opening, the event began with a report by the Organizing Committee Chair, who is also the Head of the Undergraduate Program, Maya Indrasti Notoprayitno, SH, MSi, PhD.

Carrying the theme “Legal & Technology Studies of Eco-Tourism”, the program addresses critical issues in sustainable tourism—such as environmental degradation, over-tourism, and cultural preservation—through the lens of legal studies and local wisdom. The program runs from 11 to 21 August 2025, involving 15 participants from six countries (Afghanistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mozambique, Pakistan, and the Philippines) along with one advisor.

The activities include online lectures featuring international and local speakers, a community service program in Jatiluwih Village (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), a cultural visit to Panglipuran Village, and interactive discussions with local communities.

We extend our gratitude to all leaders, faculty members, speakers, and participants for their contributions. May this program be an unforgettable academic and cultural experience, as well as a source of inspiration for concrete actions toward sustainable tourism.
