Jakarta, August 23, 2025 — The Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, held the TOEFL test for new undergraduate students of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Saturday (23/8). The test took place at the 8th floor Auditorium, Building D, and was attended by 584 freshmen.

The event was officially opened by Maya Indrasti Notoprayitno, SH., M.Si., Ph.D., Head of the Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti. In her remarks, she underscored the importance of English proficiency as essential preparation for students to face global challenges.

“This TOEFL test is not merely an academic requirement, but also the first step in equipping students with international competencies. Our hope is that graduates of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, will be able to compete at both the national and global levels,” said Maya Indrasti in her speech.

The TOEFL test covered three main sections: Listening Comprehension, Structure and Written Expression, and Reading Comprehension. Through these components, new students are expected to gain an overall picture of their English proficiency at the very beginning of their studies.

The implementation of the TOEFL test has become an annual agenda of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, as part of its program to enhance the quality of new students. The test results will serve as a reference for the faculty in designing programs to strengthen English proficiency throughout their academic journey.

The event ran smoothly and in an orderly manner under the supervision of the Office of Cooperation and Cultural Affairs, Universitas Trisakti. Students showed great enthusiasm in taking the test, marking an important first step in their higher education journey at the Faculty of Law.
