On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, the International Conference of Petroleum, Mining, Geology, Geoscience, Energy, and Environmental (ICPMGET) 2024 was held at the Auditorium on the 2nd floor of Campus B, Universitas Trisakti, organized by the Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy, Universitas Trisakti.

The event, attended by both local and international participants, online and in-person, was officially opened by the Chair of ICPMGET 2024, Dr. Kartika Fajarwati Hartono, ST, MT, and a representative from IKA Trisakti, Todo Tua Pasaribu, B.Eng, who also delivered a speech. The Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, and the Dean of the Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy, Dr. Ir. Suryo Prakoso, S.T., M.T., also gave speeches.

The event featured five keynote speakers who are experts in the fields of Earth Sciences and Energy from various countries, including Prof. Shun Chiyonobu (Petroleum Geology, Akita University, Akita, Japan), Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc, IPU, ASEAN Eng. (Geological Engineering, Universitas Trisakti, Jakarta, Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoai Nga (Mining and Geology, Hanoi University, Hanoi, Vietnam), Prof. Asep Kurnia Permadi (Petroleum Engineering, Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia), and Prof. Kun Sang Lee (Petroleum Engineering, Hanyang University, South Korea). After the speakers delivered their presentations on the given themes, conference participants had the opportunity to engage in a question and answer session.

With various interesting topics discussed and the presence of world experts, the International Conference of Petroleum, Mining, Geology, Geoscience, Energy, and Environmental Universitas Trisakti is expected to make a significant contribution to the advancement of science and industry in the future.
