Jakarta, July 24, 2025 — Universitas Trisakti continues to serve as a reference point for higher education institutions in strengthening quality governance. On Thursday (24/7), Universitas Trisakti welcomed a benchmarking visit from the PLN Institute of Technology (ITPLN), held in the Meeting Room, 9th Floor, Building M, Campus A, Universitas Trisakti.
This initiative aims to enhance inter-institutional synergy in improving internal quality assurance systems, as well as to explore best practices implemented by Universitas Trisakti as one of Indonesia’s leading private universities.
The official visit was attended by the Vice Rector I of Universitas Trisakti, Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc., IPU, ASEAN Eng., and the Director of the Quality Assurance Board (BJM) of Universitas Trisakti, Dr. Ir. Docki Saraswati, M.Eng., along with other quality management officials. From the PLN Institute of Technology, the delegation was led by Vice Rector I, Prof. Ir. Syamsir Abduh, M.M., Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN Eng., accompanied by the quality development team and representatives from relevant units.
In his remarks, Dr. Muhammad Burhannudinnur welcomed the benchmarking initiative and emphasized the importance of cross-campus collaboration in building a comprehensive culture of quality.
“We are open to sharing our experiences, challenges, and strategies in developing a quality assurance system that is adaptive to the changing times. This spirit of collaboration is essential to accelerating the advancement of higher education quality in Indonesia,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Prof. Syamsir Abduh explained that Universitas Trisakti was selected as a benchmarking partner due to its strong track record in academic and institutional quality management.
“We aim to learn directly from the best practices implemented by Trisakti, particularly in managing the Quality Assurance Board, accreditation systems, and the digitalization of quality processes,” he said.
The event continued with a presentation by the Universitas Trisakti Quality Assurance Board team, covering policies, organizational structure, internal audit processes, monitoring and evaluation systems, and the use of information systems to support quality assurance processes.
The discussion session was interactive, reflecting the enthusiasm of both parties to exchange ideas and experiences. This visit is expected to serve as the first step toward sustained collaboration between Universitas Trisakti and the PLN Institute of Technology in advancing the quality of higher education in Indonesia.
