Socialization of the Housing Credit Program: Campus and Nation Synergy in Collaborative Housing

Jakarta, September 23, 2025 – Universitas Trisakti hosted the Socialization of the Housing Credit Program under the theme “Campus and Nation Synergy in Collaborative Housing”, an initiative in support of the government’s efforts to improve public access to decent and affordable housing.

The event was officially opened by the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, who in his remarks emphasized the importance of collaboration among universities, the government, and the banking sector in supporting national strategic programs in the housing sector.

Representing the Minister of Housing and Settlements of the Republic of Indonesia, Maruarar Sirait, was Dr. Sri Haryati, S.Psi., M.Si., Director General of Urban Housing. In her presentation, moderated by Arief Fadhilah, ST., MT., Secretary of the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Universitas Trisakti, she conveyed the government’s commitment to accelerating the development of public housing through affordable credit schemes and cross-sectoral synergy, including academic institutions.

“Through collaborations like this, we want to ensure that housing development addresses not only the physical aspects but also sustainability and social inclusivity in every residential area built,” stated Dr. Sri Haryati.

The event was also attended by several prominent figures, including:

  • Syafaat Perdana, SE, Special Staff to the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia
  • Denon Berriklinsky Prawiraatmadja, Treasurer General of the Trisakti Alumni Association (IKA Trisakti)
  • Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc., IPU, ASEAN Eng., Vice Rector I of Universitas Trisakti
  • Dr. Ir. Mohammad Ischak, MT., Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP)
  • Dr. Ir. Bambang Endro Yuwono, MS, Director of the Campus Management Institute of Universitas Trisakti and Chair of the Organizing Committee

Beyond government and academia, the event was also supported by leaders of national banking institutions, including Bank BNI, Bank Mandiri, Bank BRI, Bank BSI, and Bank BTN, as strategic partners in channeling public housing credit.

This event served as an important milestone in strengthening the role of universities as drivers of sustainable development while encouraging the younger generation to actively participate in the success of the national housing program through collaboration and innovation.

The initiative is expected to be the first step toward ongoing collaboration between the government, universities, and the banking sector in accelerating the national housing agenda. With the spirit of gotong royong (mutual cooperation), the event reaffirmed that the provision of decent housing is not solely the government’s responsibility but a collective effort of all elements of the nation to realize a more prosperous and socially just Indonesia.
