Jakarta, July 31, 2024 – On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, Universitas Trisakti and Budi Luhur University officially signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two higher education institutions. The signing ceremony took place on the 12th floor of Building M, Campus A, Trisakti University, Jakarta. The signing of this memorandum was attended by leaders from both universities, including the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, and the Rector of Budi Luhur University, Prof. Dr. Agus Setyo Budi, M.Sc.

On this occasion, both rectors expressed their high hopes that this collaboration would open up opportunities for various collaborative initiatives that would benefit both parties, especially in the fields of research, curriculum development, and joint educational programs. Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, Rector of Universitas Trisakti, opened the event with a speech.

“This cooperation is an important step, particularly for Universitas Trisakti, in improving the quality of education and collaboration. We hope that through this memorandum of understanding, we (Universitas Trisakti and Budi Luhur University) can support each other and strengthen academic competence and innovation.”

The Rector of Budi Luhur University added, “We are very enthusiastic about this collaboration. This is a great opportunity to expand academic networks and enrich the experiences of students and faculty. We believe that this cooperation will have a significant positive impact.”

The next session was a discussion on what Universitas Trisakti and Budi Luhur University could do and offer each other, moderated by the Vice Rector IV of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. drg. Tri Erri Astoeti, M.Kes, FISDPH., FISPD. The discussion covered various aspects of cooperation, including student and faculty exchange programs, joint research projects. Both universities also committed to sharing resources and information to support academic and research development. The signing event concluded with a photo session and informal discussions about the next steps to be taken to realize the planned initiatives.

With this memorandum of understanding, Universitas Trisakti and Budi Luhur University hope to create a productive synergy and provide broad benefits for the entire academic community and society.
