Jakarta, May 26, 2025 — In a move to bridge the gap between education and the evolving demands of the digital industry, Universitas Trisakti hosted a seminar titled “Introduction to Apple Developer Academy” under the theme “How Apple Developer Academy Helps Learners Stay Relevant with the Industry Needs.” Held on Monday, May 26, 2025, at Building M, 12th Floor, Campus A, the event attracted hundreds of enthusiastic participants—including students, lecturers, and young professionals—eager to explore career opportunities in the tech sector.

The seminar was officially opened by Richy Wijaya W., SE., MM., C.R.A., C.R.P., Head of Universitas Trisakti’s Career Center, who emphasized the importance of equipping the younger generation with relevant skills to adapt and compete in the digital era.

“Universities must serve as a bridge between individual potential and industry needs. This seminar is one of our concrete steps in providing students with access to valuable information and opportunities,” said Richy Wijaya in his opening remarks.

Peter T., Head of Operations and External Relations at Apple Developer Academy, delivered a comprehensive presentation on how the Academy not only teaches coding but also cultivates an innovative, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.

In his presentation, Peter explained how the Academy’s curriculum is designed to align with the fast-changing needs of the tech industry. Students from diverse academic backgrounds—not just from technology, but also from design, business, and communications—are mentored to develop impactful digital products for real-world problems.

“Relevance is key. We are not just educating developers; we’re nurturing problem solvers who are attuned to the times and user needs,” Peter emphasized.

The seminar also featured interactive sessions, including Q&As, alumni sharing their experiences, and discussions on the selection process and student life at the Apple Developer Academy. Many attendees expressed strong interest in applying to the Academy after learning that it welcomes students from a wide range of disciplines, not just IT-related majors.
