Jakarta, September 1, 2024 – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Trisakti held the Introduction to Campus Life Program for New Students (PKKMB) for the 2024/2025 academic year on August 29-30, 2024, at Universitas Trisakti’s Campus F. The event was attended by more than 1,200 new students admitted to various study programs under the FEB at Universitas Trisakti.

PKKMB is an annual event designed to introduce campus life to new students. The event is structured to help them understand the values, culture, and traditions of Universitas Trisakti, while equipping them with the foundational knowledge necessary for success in their academic journey.

The event began with a welcoming speech from the Dean of FEB Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian, MM, CIRR, CMA, CPM (Asia), who delivered a motivational message to the new students. In her speech, Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian emphasized the importance of integrity, hard work, and collaboration in achieving success.

“You are the next generation who will bring positive change to society. Use your time at Universitas Trisakti to develop yourselves both academically and non-academically,” she said.

In addition to the Dean’s speech, the PKKMB FEB event also featured introductory sessions from the Vice Deans, lecturers, and student organizations. The new students were provided with an overview of the curriculum, campus facilities, and various extracurricular activities they could participate in.

The PKKMB sessions included presentations from several speakers:

1. Dr. Maria Silvya E. Wangga, M.H, Head of the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence at Universitas Trisakti.
2. Mr. Sutoro, A.Md, S.T., M.M, a Motivator & Trainer.
3. Joice Manurung, a Psychologist.
4. Dr. Intan Nevia Cahyana, S.H., M.H, Head of the Anti-Bullying Task Force at Universitas Trisakti.
5. Baby Kristami Coriesza Nauli, BA.IR, 3rd Runner-Up of Miss Universe Indonesia 2023.

One of the highlights of PKKMB was an inspirational talk show featuring successful alumni of FEB Universitas Trisakti. They shared their experiences and success tips with the new students, offering inspiration on how to make the most of their time in college to achieve excellence.

PKKMB FEB Trisakti University 2024 concluded with the awarding of the Alma Mater Jacket to representatives of the new students (S1, D4, D3) and the distribution of information about upcoming academic and student activities. The new students appeared enthusiastic and ready to embark on their new journey at Universitas Trisakti.

With the conclusion of this PKKMB, it is hoped that the new students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Trisakti will be increasingly prepared and motivated to pursue their academic life with high spirits and contribute positively to the campus and society at large.
