Jakarta, August 29, 2025 – The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti, held its Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus bagi Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) or Campus Life Orientation Program for New Students on August 29–30, 2025. The program was conducted offline on the first day at Campus B of Universitas Trisakti and continued online via Zoom on the second day.

The first day of PKKMB was officially opened by Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, S.T., M.T., Vice Rector III of Universitas Trisakti, who in his address encouraged new students to make the most of their study period, embrace Trisakti’s values, and strive for excellence. This was followed by remarks from Dr. dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, who emphasized the importance of integrity and professionalism as essential qualities for future medical professionals.

The program continued with presentations from the Vice Deans I, II, III, and IV of the Faculty of Medicine, introducing students to academic affairs, student and alumni engagement, administrative governance, and faculty partnership development. New students were also introduced to their academic advisors by Dr. Fransisca Chondro, M.Biomed, AIFO-K. Following this, Dr. Dyani Pitra Velyani, Sp.KJ, delivered a session on the prevention and handling of violence in higher education. The first day concluded with a Campus Safari, where students toured Campus B to become familiar with its various learning facilities.

On the second day, Saturday (August 30), PKKMB was held online via Zoom. The session opened with creative team activities designed to build rapport among new students. This was followed by a presentation from Drg. Abdul Gani Soulisa, MPH, on the prevention and eradication of drug abuse. Next, Dr. Dewi Inong Irana, Sp.KK, delivered a session on sexual education and reproductive health, aimed at providing students with comprehensive insights into personal and environmental health.

Through PKKMB 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti, hopes that new students will not only gain familiarity with their campus environment but also internalize core values, understand the academic culture, and acquire essential foundational knowledge to support their journey toward becoming professional doctors embodying the Trikrama Trisakti character.
