Saturday, July 20, 2024 – The Faculty of Arts and Design Universitas Trisakti is hosting an Open House event titled “First Step”. This event aims to introduce the world of arts and design to the wider community, especially prospective students interested in pursuing studies in this field.

At the “First Step” event, the Faculty of Arts and Design will hold four engaging workshops for participants. These workshops are designed to provide practical experience and enrich participants’ knowledge in various aspects of art and design. The four workshops offered are:

• 3D Sketch Up Workshop: This workshop will teach the basics of using Sketch Up software to create 3D designs. Participants will learn basic to advanced techniques for creating realistic and functional 3D models.
• Wooden Toys Workshop: In this workshop, participants will learn to make wooden toys. With guidance from experienced instructors, participants will get to know the basic techniques of making wooden toys, from material selection and cutting to assembly.
• Lino Print Workshop: This workshop invites participants to explore graphic printing techniques using lino print. Participants will learn how to create designs, carve linoleum, and print their own works.
• Portraiture Photography Workshop: For those interested in photography, this workshop offers the opportunity to learn basic to advanced techniques in portrait photography. Participants will be taught about lighting, composition, and shooting techniques to produce stunning portraits.

The Open House event will also feature an exhibition of student artworks, Q&A sessions with faculty, and campus tours. This will allow participants to experience firsthand the academic atmosphere and facilities offered by the Faculty of Arts and Design Universitas Trisakti.
