Jakarta, May 24, 2025 – The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) at Universitas Trisakti successfully held an Open House event aimed at introducing prospective students and the general public to academic life in the fields of civil engineering and architecture.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of FTSP, Dr. Ir. A. Hadi Prabowo, M.T., who emphasized the importance of early exposure to the academic environment to help prospective students make informed decisions aligned with their interests and potential.

“Through this Open House, we hope participants gain a clear understanding of the learning process, academic atmosphere, and the strengths that FTSP Universitas Trisakti has to offer,” said Dr. Hadi in his opening remarks.

The event continued with presentations from each of the study programs under FTSP—Civil Engineering and Architecture—covering curriculum structure, career prospects, as well as various research projects and international collaborations currently underway.

One of the highlights of the event was a sharing session featuring international students currently participating in the student exchange program at FTSP. Three students from École Polytechnique de l’Université de Nantes, France, shared their experiences studying at Universitas Trisakti, including their cultural adaptation challenges and impressions of the Indonesian education system.

To conclude the event, participants were invited to join a campus tour showcasing FTSP’s state-of-the-art facilities, from interactive classrooms to modern civil engineering laboratories and architecture studios.

This event is expected to broaden the perspectives of prospective students and strengthen international ties through the continuously expanding student exchange programs at FTSP Universitas Trisakti.
