Jakarta, August 1, 2024 – The Faculty of Medicine Universitas Trisakti held the Oath-Taking Ceremony for New Doctors of Batch LIV, Period III, 2024, at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Indonesia Kempinski. This event was attended by 53 new doctors and was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Trisakti, Dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, accompanied by the Vice Deans and their team.

In his speech, the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA., stated that there are three factors determining the progress of a country: welfare, education, and health. He continued by explaining that Indonesia has more than 74,000 villages, where the distribution of doctors, medical equipment availability, and other factors are still uneven. Reflecting on this, he expressed confidence that graduates from the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Trisakti would be able to address these issues in the future and improve public health evenly across various regions in Indonesia.

Furthermore, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Trisakti, Dr. Yenny, Sp.FK., congratulated the 53 new doctors who had successfully earned their medical degrees. She stated that graduating as a doctor is the first step in fulfilling their duties, which involve working within a system, understanding all regulations, policies, and government programs in the field of medicine and health, and adhering to the medical profession’s ethics that serve as the moral foundation in serving patients. Dr. Yenny, Sp.FK., also emphasized that the medical profession requires continuous learning and adapting to advancements in medical science and technology.

Additionally, during the oath-taking ceremony, a new doctor named dr. Salsabila Hurin was recognized as the best graduate, achieving the highest GPA of 3.91 and the best CBT score of 93.3. dr. Nanda Berliana Agustin also achieved a remarkable accomplishment with the highest OSCE score of 91.42.

May the new doctors who have taken their oaths carry out their duties effectively to contribute actively to improving the health of Indonesian society and bring honor to the alma mater, Universitas Trisakti.
