Jakarta, October 16, 2025 — The Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti, successfully held a National Seminar themed “Security Awareness in Action: Understanding Digital Threats and Building Stronger Web Protection”, located at Buildings F & G, Campus A, Universitas Trisakti.
The event served as an important platform for students, lecturers, and information technology practitioners to gain a deeper understanding of cyber threats and the protective measures required in today’s increasingly complex digital landscape.
The seminar featured distinguished speakers in the field of cybersecurity:
The three speakers discussed key aspects of digital security, including the latest cyber threat trends, risk mitigation strategies, and the implementation of robust data and network protection systems. Participants were also encouraged to enhance their security awareness in daily technology use—both in academic environments and professional settings.
Also in attendance was Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, M.T., Vice Rector III of Universitas Trisakti, who in his opening remarks expressed appreciation for the organization of this national seminar as an important effort to strengthen cybersecurity literacy within the academic community.
“Awareness of digital security is a fundamental aspect that young generations must possess in order to become future leaders in information security,” he stated.
The seminar was also attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Rianti Dewi Sulamet-Ariobimo, S.T., M.Eng., IPU., Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology; Ir. Amal Witonohadi, M.T., Vice Dean of FTI; other vice deans, lecturers, and students of Universitas Trisakti. Participants showed great enthusiasm, as reflected in the lively discussions and numerous questions raised during the Q&A session.
Through this event, Universitas Trisakti reaffirms its commitment to advancing digital competence and awareness, aligning with the demands of the ongoing technological transformation era where information security must remain a top priority.
