PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, in collaboration with the Universitas Trisakti Business Incubator Center, is organizing the Training and Mentoring Program for Local Inspirational Figures 2024. This program, initiated by BRI in 2020, features participants from across Indonesia. The aim of this activity is to enhance the capacity and capabilities (deepening) of selected participants who have attended in previous years.

To inaugurate the event, a kickoff was held online via Zoom on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The event was attended by representatives from BRI, including Mr. Andika Arif Rahmansyah, Department Head of the Social Entrepreneurship & Incubation Division, and representatives from Universitas Trisakti, including Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc., IPU, ASEAN Eng., Vice Rector 1; Director of LPPM Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Astri Rinanti, S.Si., MT, IPM, ASEAN Eng.; and Dr. Ir. Mohammad Ischak, M.T., Vice Director of PKM.

The event was opened by Dr. Gita Handayani Tarigan, MPH, M.M., who acted as the master of ceremonies and will also serve as a mentor in FIL 2024. This was followed by a joint prayer led by Dr. Ir. Mohammad Ischak, M.T., and remarks from the Vice Rector 1 of Universitas Trisakti, Dr. Ir. Muhammad Burhannudinnur, M.Sc., IPU, ASEAN Eng. The official opening of the event was delivered by BRI’s Department Head of Social Entrepreneurship & Incubation, Andika Arif Rahmansyah.

During the kickoff, Emelia Sari, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., from Universitas Trisakti, provided an overview and technical explanation of the FIL BRI 2024 series of activities. She outlined that the training and mentoring will take place over the next six months, starting with training on five major themes: financial literacy and inclusion, communication expertise, motivation skills, entrepreneurship, and community engagement, followed by mentoring from top lecturers at Universitas Trisakti.

The kickoff for FIL 2024 was warmly and enthusiastically received by the participants, enhanced by icebreakers and quizzes from the MC, which increased participant engagement. Participants eagerly introduced themselves to the attendees and expressed their readiness to partake in the upcoming training and mentoring sessions. At the end of the session, the expert trainers and mentors who will accompany the FIL 2024 participants were introduced.
