On Monday, July 8, 2024, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia held an event titled “Kemenkes Goes to Campus” at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Building F and G, 8th floor, Universitas Trisakti Campus A. The event, themed “Kemenkes Calls for Talents,” aimed to invite students and lecturers from various universities to actively participate in the development of the national health sector and provide information about job vacancies, especially within the Ministry of Health.

The event began with a welcoming speech from the Vice Rector III, Mr. Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, MT, followed by an inspirational speech from the Director General of Health Services of the Ministry of Health, Mr. Dr. Azhar Jaya, SH. SKM. MARS., who emphasized the vital role of young talents in the innovation and transformation of Indonesia’s health system. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government, academics, and the community in improving the quality of accessible and affordable health services for all.

“Kemenkes Goes to Campus is not just a seminar, but a platform for students to make real contributions to national health development,” said Mr. Dr. Azhar Jaya in his speech.

“We hope that through this collaboration, many young innovators will emerge, providing creative solutions to various future health challenges from different fields, not just in health,” he added.

Additionally, the Ministry of Health provided various information regarding scholarship programs, training, and job opportunities for students interested in pursuing careers in the health sector, especially within the Ministry of Health. This aligns with the Ministry of Health’s commitment to supporting the development of quality and competent human resources in the health sector.

The Q&A session was filled by health experts and practitioners from the Ministry of Health, including Dr. Azhar Jaya, SH. SKM. MARS., Dr. Nova Riyanti Yusuf, Sp.KJ, Director of RSJ Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor, Dr. Andry Chandra, MARS, Director of Operational Services of RSUP Hasan Sadikin, and Marsha Anindita from the KIE Team-Dit Health Promotion Ditjen Kesmas (content creator for Ayo Sehat, GenZ).

The event concluded successfully with the presentation of souvenirs from Universitas Trisakti to the Ministry of Health and a photo session with the participants in attendance.
