Jakarta, August 28, 2024 – Universitas Trisakti conducted an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training for Building Management on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. The training was organized by the University Campus Management Institute, led by Dr. Ir. Endro Yuwono, MS, with participants including educational staff in the technical, authority, and OHS fields within Trisakti University. The event was opened by Universitas Trisakti’s Vice-Rector II, Prof. Dr. Khomsiyah, Ak., CA., FCMA., CGMA., CRIB., who delivered a speech and provided an explanation on the importance of implementing OHS standards in building management.

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Khomsiyah emphasized the university’s commitment to improving the quality of the work environment and safety for the entire academic community. She also appreciated the efforts to enhance knowledge and skills related to building safety management. The training aimed to provide in-depth insights into standards and best practices in building safety management, as well as to educate participants on the procedures that must be followed to ensure safety and health in the workplace.

The event concluded with a post-test and a closing speech from the Head of the General Administration Bureau, Gunawan, ST, MT, who emphasized the importance of applying the training outcomes in daily practice. Mr. Gunawan expressed his hope that the knowledge gained could be maximized to support the creation of a safe and productive work environment at Universitas Trisakti.

This training is expected to be a starting point in developing a better safety management system on campus and increasing awareness of the importance of OHS in every operational aspect.
