On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, the Legal Laboratory (Lab. Hukum) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti (FH Usakti) organized an investment contract training event held in the Prof. E. Suherman Auditorium, Building H, 2nd Floor. This event is the second series of training initiated by the Lab. Hukum FH Usakti, following the first series which focused on the drafting of investment contracts with an emphasis on international civil aspects. The event began with a report by the Head of the Legal Lab FH Usakti, Dr. Rosdiana Saleh, S.H., M.H., who stated that the training was attended by more than 100 participants, the majority of whom were FH Usakti students. This was followed by a speech from the Dean of FH Usakti, Dr. Dra. Siti Nurbaiti, S.H., M.Hum., who expressed the hope that the training would hone students’ practical soft skills beyond the theoretical knowledge gained in lectures, thus preparing them to meet industry needs upon graduation.

The speakers for the investment contract training included:

• Ady Putra, S.H., LL.M., Vice President Legal Contracting and Legal Counsel of Pertamina;
• Dr. Feri Wirsamulia, S.H., M.Comm.Law, Managing Partner of Wirsamulia and Ramon Law Firm;
• Dianyndra K. Hardy, S.H., M.Kn., Lecturer at FH Usakti.

The session was moderated by Sharda Abrianti, S.H., M.H., a permanent lecturer at FH Usakti. The experienced practitioners presented materials in accordance with their respective fields and expertise, including examples of contract drafts. The participants were enthusiastic in asking several questions related to the creation of investment contracts. The event concluded with the awarding of certificates of appreciation and plaques by the Dean of FH Usakti and the Head of the Legal Lab to the speakers and moderator. Hopefully, this training will benefit the participants, especially in honing their skills in drafting investment contracts.
