The Industrial Engineering Program of the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) Universitas Trisakti, in collaboration with the Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Universitas Trisakti, organized the 16th Industrial Business Fair with the theme “Empowering Women.” This annual event took place on January 11, 2024, at Plaza Campus A of Universitas Trisakti.

The event was inaugurated by the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA. He announced that a total of 16 works by Universitas Trisakti students are ready to be developed into startups, which can later create job opportunities and contribute to the nation’s economy. He also expressed his hope that this event would serve as inspiration for students and faculty to continue creating ‘The New Generation of Entrepreneurs.’

Simultaneously, the Rector encouraged the entire academic community to develop a conducive entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus to produce high-quality startups that can benefit society.

Before being showcased at this event, students, accompanied by faculty members, alumni, and practitioners, worked on their projects since August 2023. The Industrial Business Fair is the culmination event to showcase the results of the students’ work, which also serves as the capstone design for the Industrial Engineering program in the course of Industrial Manufacturing and Services Design Project.

This event, held for the 16th time, was attended not only by academic communities but also by alumni and the general public, and it welcomed investors ready to further develop the showcased works of the students.”
