Jakarta, January 7, 2025 – Universitas Trisakti held the inauguration and handover ceremony for the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and the Dean of the Faculty of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Technology (FALTL). The event, conducted in the Multipurpose Room on the 12th floor of Building M, was presided over by the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, and attended by the university’s academic community, as well as Prof. Dr. Muhammad Dimyati, M.Sc., Secretary of the Trisakti Foundation, and Lukman Effendi, S.E., M.M., Treasurer of the Trisakti Foundation.

The inauguration began with the reading of the Rector’s Decree by Prof. Dr. Elfrida Ratnawati Gultom, S.H., M.Hum., M.Kn., Head of the Human Resources and Administration Bureau. During this ceremony, Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian, MM, CIRR, CMA, CPM (Asia), was sworn in as the Dean of FEB for the 2025–2030 term, alongside Dr. Ir. Silia Yuslim, M.T., who was sworn in as the Dean of FALTL for the same period. The oaths were administered by the Rector of Universitas Trisakti and witnessed by Islamic and Catholic clergy.

The ceremony also included the signing of the inauguration minutes and the official handover of duties. Dr. Melati Ferianita Fachrul, M.S., the outgoing Dean of FALTL for the 2019–2025 term, formally handed over the position to her successor, Dr. Ir. Silia Yuslim, M.T. The process was witnessed by Father Robert Rimmin, S.J., and Ust. Muhammad Fadhli, S.Q., and supported by representatives of the Trisakti Foundation, including Prof. Dimyati, as well as the Universitas Trisakti Senate, represented by Prof. Dr. Ing. Ir. Dedes Nur Gandarum, MSA.

In his remarks, the Rector, Prof. Kadarsah, expressed his gratitude to the outgoing deans for their service and extended his hopes for the newly inaugurated deans. He emphasized the importance of innovation and collaboration in achieving the university’s vision of excellence.

“Leadership transitions are part of a healthy organizational dynamic. I am confident that with the commitment and collaboration of the entire academic community, Universitas Trisakti will continue to progress as a leading university both nationally and internationally,” stated Prof. Kadarsah.

Additionally, Prof. Dimyati, Secretary of the Trisakti Foundation, pledged full support to the new deans in carrying out their duties. He underscored the significance of integrity and leadership oriented towards advancing the university.

The event concluded with a group photo session, congratulatory messages, and a casual gathering. This moment marked the beginning of new leadership, which is expected to steer the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Technology of Universitas Trisakti toward a brighter future.
