Jakarta, September 1, 2025 – The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti (FK Usakti), held its Inaugural Lecture for the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Monday, September 1, 2025, conducted virtually via Zoom. The event was officially opened by the Dean of FK Usakti, Dr. dr. Yenny, Sp.FK.
With the theme “Becoming Competitive Doctors in the Era of Health Transformation: Collaboration Between Doctors, Hospitals, and Industry,” the lecture featured keynote speaker dr. Kamelia Faisal, MARS, Marketing Director of Bio Farma Group and alumna of FK Usakti, Class of 1987. The session was moderated by dr. Donna Adriani K.M., M.Biomed, AIFO, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni of FK Usakti.
In her presentation, dr. Kamelia Faisal, MARS highlighted three essential aspects that Doctors must possess to navigate the era of health transformation: Clinical Knowledge, Technology, and Collaboration. She also emphasized that the role of a doctor extends beyond healing; Doctors must also act as connectors among various stakeholders in the healthcare system to create more integrated and sustainable services. Quoting Steve Jobs, she reminded participants that “The future belongs to those who can connect the dots”—a vision of building solutions through interconnection.
The event, held from 08:00 to 09:30 WIB, was attended by the faculty leadership, lecturers, and students of FK Usakti. This inaugural lecture is expected to inspire students to equip themselves not only with medical expertise but also with adaptability, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration skills to thrive in the evolving healthcare landscape.
