Jakarta, October 11, 2025 — The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Trisakti, once again demonstrated its excellence as a premier higher education institution capable of meeting the educational needs of top-tier professionals. Today, the Doctoral Program in Economics proudly conferred the title of Doctor (Ph.D.) with Cum Laude distinction upon Rear Admiral (Laksamana Muda TNI) Hudiarto Krisno Utomo.

The Doctoral Promotion Session, conducted with solemnity and academic rigor, was chaired by Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian, MM, CMA, CPM (Asia), Dean of FEB Universitas Trisakti. The promovendus was supervised by Prof. Dr. Willy Arafah, DBA, a well-known expert in strategic management. The examination panel also included Dr. Husna Leila Yusran and external examiner Admiral (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Marsetio, MM, former Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy.

The inclusion of a high-ranking external examiner from the military further reinforced the relevance and quality of the research presented. Rear Admiral Hudiarto Krisno Utomo, currently serving as Commander of the Third Fleet Command (Panglima Koarmada III), successfully defended his dissertation titled:

“The Influence of Strategic Human Resources Competence, Organizational Commitment, and Organizational Culture on the Organizational Performance of Kolinlamil Mediated by Strategic Change Management.”

The dissertation not only met rigorous academic standards but also contributed significantly to the advancement of defense organization management in Indonesia—particularly in the area of strategic human resource management within the Indonesian Navy. Rear Admiral Hudiarto Krisno Utomo was awarded the Doctor of Economics degree with Cum Laude distinction.
