The Faculty of Medicine (FK) and the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of Universitas Trisakti held a Halal Bihalal event themed “Forgiveness & New Beginnings: Celebrating the Spirit of Eid al-Fitr” on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Ki Hajar Dewantara Lobby, Campus B, Universitas Trisakti. The event was attended by Vice Rectors I, III, and IV, along with faculty leaders, lecturers, and academic staff from both faculties.

The program began with a recitation of the Qur’an and its interpretation by FK students, Ilham and Dhiya, followed by opening remarks from the Organizing Committee Chair, Dr. Donna Adriani K.M., M.Biomed., AIFO. In her speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, emphasized the importance of Halal Bihalal as a meaningful tradition to strengthen ties within the academic community. Echoing this sentiment, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Wiwiek Poedjiastoeti, M.Kes., Sp.BBM., Ph.D, expressed her appreciation for the spirit of unity shared between the two faculties during this post-Eid moment.

The highlight of the event was a religious sermon (tausiyah) and collective prayer led by Ustadz Khalid Basalamah. In his lecture, he underscored the value of forgiveness and maintaining harmonious relationships, especially within academic and professional environments. As a token of appreciation, door prizes were distributed to attendees. The event concluded with a warm session of handshakes and social interaction.

This Halal Bihalal gathering served as a moment of reflection and a reaffirmation of solidarity among the staff and lecturers of FK and FKG Universitas Trisakti, embodying the spirit of togetherness and blessings in the month of Syawal.
