Jakarta, August 5, 2024 – The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning Universitas Trisakti hosted a seminar titled “Green Building and Residential Market Transformation.” The event featured several speakers and practitioners in the fields of architecture, construction, and property development, discussing the transformation of the housing market towards more environmentally friendly buildings. The seminar, held at 8:30 AM WIB, was attended by academics and students.

The event began with an opening speech from the Dean of FTSP Universitas Trisakti, Dr. Ir. Hadi Prabowo M.T. During the main session, various topics were discussed, including the implementation of green building principles in architectural design, energy efficiency technologies, and the latest policies and regulations affecting the housing market. The keynote speakers included Farida Lasida Aji, East Asia Lead for the Green Buildings Market Transformation Program from IFC Indonesia; Ibu Enah, Design Library & Standardization Section Head from CitraGarden Group; Ibu Prisca Anggia Putri, Head of the Housing Planning Subgroup, Jakarta Provincial Housing and Settlement Agency; and Mr. Jimmy Siswanto Juwana, a retired lecturer from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Universitas Trisakti.

The seminar aimed to provide insights and practical solutions to support the shift towards greener and more sustainable housing. Participants were also given the opportunity to discuss and ask questions directly to the experts about the challenges and opportunities in implementing green building in Indonesia.

By the end of the seminar, it is hoped that participants will have a better understanding of and be able to apply green building principles in their respective projects, contributing to the creation of a healthier and more sustainable environment.
