Jakarta, July 27, 2024 – The Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti held its 40th Grand Reunion on Saturday, July 27, 2024. The event took place at Plaza Campus A, Universitas Trisakti. This reunion successfully brought together hundreds of alumni and students from various generations, from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s to current active students. The event was also attended by lecturers and staff who have been or are still active in the Industrial Engineering Department Universitas Trisakti.

The event began with the singing of the Indonesian national anthem “Indonesia Raya” and the Universitas Trisakti anthem, followed by opening remarks from the event’s organizing committee chairperson, Riveryn Vertica, and the Head of the Student Association, Alyendra Mahagothra. The Chair of IKATISAKTI (Universitas Trisakti Industrial Engineering Alumni Association), Ambieya Pietoyo, also gave his remarks, followed by the Head of the Industrial Engineering Department, Dr. Rina Fitriana ST, MM, IPM, the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Ir. Amal Witonohadi, MT, and the Vice Rector III, Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, MT. Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, MT emphasized the importance of this reunion event for strengthening relationships and expanding networks among the generations of the Industrial Engineering Department, as well as serving as a reminder that achieving the current excellence and international accreditation by General IABEE was neither easy nor quick, and alumni played a significant role in the journey of the Industrial Engineering Department to date.

The event continued with the cutting of a traditional tumpeng cone, symbolizing the celebration of 40 years of the Industrial Engineering Department at Universitas Trisakti, an art performance by active students and an alumni band, a talk show and sharing session with speakers from alumni of various generations, and the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to lecturers Ir. Bambang Cholis Su’udi, MT, and Dr. Pudji Astuti, MT, who have been teaching at the Industrial Engineering Department of Trisakti University for more than 35 years.

This Grand Reunion was not just a celebration but also a reflection of the long journey undertaken by the Industrial Engineering Department of Universitas Trisakti. With a spirit of togetherness, it is hoped that this department will continue to grow and contribute more significantly to society, the nation, and the industry in Indonesia in the years to come.
