Jakarta, 15 November 2024 – The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) Universitas Trisakti organized the General Lecture on Soil Improvement, held on Friday, 15 November 2024, at the 9th Floor of Building C, Universitas Trisakti Campus, Jakarta. This event, attended by civil engineering students, featured two guest speakers who are experts in their fields: Mr. Egy Crystal Soesilo, ST., MEng., IPM and Ms. Yesi Pratiwi, S.T. from PT. Nittoc Construction Indonesia.

The seminar aimed to provide students with deeper insights into the latest soil improvement techniques widely applied in building construction, particularly in projects dealing with challenging soil conditions. Topics covered included various methods of soil improvement such as soil stabilization, grouting, and modern techniques that are both environmentally friendly and efficient.

Moderated by Christy Anandha Putri, ST., MT., the event saw high enthusiasm from students keen to bridge the gap between classroom theories and practical applications. Additionally, the seminar offered participants an opportunity to better understand the challenges faced by civil engineering professionals in the industry.

The event received positive feedback from the university and participants, with hopes for more similar activities in the future to enhance students’ academic and professional experiences.
