The Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy (FTKE) Universitas Trisakti has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Indonesian Society of Petroleum Engineers (IATMI) to strengthen and develop the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The signing took place on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, in the meeting room on the 5th floor of Building D at FTKE, attended by the Dean, Faculty Leadership, FTKE Program Heads, and the IATMI Chairperson along with their team. This agreement aims to enhance collaboration in research to advance knowledge and technology, particularly in the energy sector, as well as to support the oil and gas industry, strengthening the link and match between universities, industry, and companies.

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy stated that this partnership is a strategic step in preparing graduates who are ready to face the challenges of the ever-evolving industry.

“Through this collaboration, we hope to improve the quality of education and research at the Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy. Moreover, we want to make a tangible contribution to the development of the petroleum industry in Indonesia,” said Dr. Ir. Suryo Prakoso, MT.

IATMI Chairman, Raam Krisna, added that the collaboration is expected to benefit both parties.

“We believe that this collaboration will allow us to share knowledge and experience, as well as prepare a young generation that is competent in the field of petroleum engineering,” he explained.

With the signing of this agreement, it is hoped that a harmonious and productive relationship will be established between the Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy at Universitas Trisakti and IATMI, bringing positive impacts to the advancement of science and technology in Indonesia.
