Jakarta, 27 September 2024 – The Faculty of Arts and Design Universitas Trisakti (FSRD Usakti) organized the Pasar Rupa event under the theme “Daur Rupa,” held at the South Great Hall of Pos Bloc. The event was attended by the Dean of FSRD, Prof. Dr. Wegig Murwonugroho, M.Hum, Vice Dean III Susy Irma Adisurya, S.Sn, M.Ds., and Vice Dean IV Anita Armas, S.Sn, M.Ds.

Pasar Rupa is an event organized by the student association of FSRD Usakti, led by event chairperson Anastasia. The event not only aims to enrich society through art but also supports the local creative economy by providing a platform for designers and students to showcase and sell their works.

On this occasion, the Dean of FSRD, Prof. Dr. Wegig Murwonugroho, shared guidance and insights on the importance of sustaining such events as a space for young artists and the creative community to continue developing. He also emphasized the significance of collaboration between fine arts and public spaces to enhance art appreciation among the broader public.

One of the speakers, Siti Febrina Rahmadani, a lecturer at FSRD’s Interior Design program and founder of berrybear.art, shared her creative journey during the pandemic.

“Despite the limitations of the pandemic, I wanted to continue creating, which led to the birth of berrybear.art, focusing on producing stickers,” she explained.

Through Pasar Rupa, it is hoped that knowledge and skills in fine arts will be further enhanced, creating an inspiring atmosphere in public spaces so that fine art can be enjoyed by all segments of society.
