Bogor, September 20, 2025 – The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti organized a Community Service Program (Abdimas) at the Nagrak Campus, Universitas Trisakti, Bogor Regency, on Saturday (20/9). This activity reflects the university’s tangible contribution to improving public health, particularly for the residents of Nagrak Village and its surrounding areas.

The event opened with remarks from Universitas Trisakti’s Vice Rector, Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, MT, who highlighted the vital role of universities in providing continuous health education to the community. The program was then officially inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti, Dr. dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, who reaffirmed the faculty’s commitment to delivering health programs that address the community’s real needs.

In this Abdimas program, lecturers, alumni, education staff, and students from the 2022, 2023, and 2024 cohorts of the Faculty of Medicine actively engaged in delivering various health education sessions and medical check-ups covering critical health issues, including:

• Menstrual Disorders in PCOS
• The Benefits of Circumcision
• Smart Awareness: Protect Yourself from Urinary Tract Infections
• Healthy Circumcision for a Better Future

The program was warmly received by the residents of Nagrak Village. In addition to gaining valuable knowledge, the community was encouraged to adopt healthier lifestyles and practice early detection of diseases that may affect quality of life.

Through this Abdimas initiative, the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti aims to maintain its presence within the community, supporting the creation of a healthier, more productive society with stronger awareness of disease prevention.
