The Faculty of Medicine Universitas Trisakti, in collaboration with the Indonesian Emergency Health Volunteers Community (KREKI), organized a Training of Trainers (ToT) to enhance the capacity of health volunteer trainers. This event, titled “Enhancing Health Volunteer Trainer Capacity in Basic Life Support and Everyday First Aid,” took place on October 21 and 23, 2024, at Room 806 and the Mini Theater on the 8th floor of Campus B, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Trisakti. The program aimed not only to equip participants with basic life support skills but also to strengthen volunteer readiness in providing everyday first aid in various emergency situations.

The training sessions covered both theoretical and practical aspects, delivered by experts in emergency medicine and first aid. Participants of this ToT will later serve as trainers in future health volunteer training programs. In addition to the training, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Trisakti and KREKI, marking the beginning of a long-term collaboration aimed at enhancing human resource capacity in emergency health care.

This initiative is expected to produce more competent trainers, ensuring that the public receives swift and accurate first aid in emergency situations, thereby reducing the risk of medical complications until further medical assistance can be provided.
