Jakarta, August 29, 2024 — The Faculty of Medicine Universitas Trisakti held a meeting for the parents of new students, Class of 2024. The event took place on Thursday, August 29, 2024, in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the programs that students will undergo during their studies at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti, to their parents.

The event began with a warm welcome from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Yenny, Sp.FK.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, expressed her gratitude for the trust placed in the Faculty of Medicine by the parents and welcomed them to the faculty. She also provided important information about the educational journey that the new students will embark on.

“Welcome to all the parents of the new students, Class of 2024. We greatly appreciate the support and trust you have given us in educating your children to become reliable medical professionals in the future. The Faculty of Medicine Universitas Trisakti is committed to providing high-quality education and preparing our students with the skills and knowledge needed in the medical field,” said Dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, in her speech.

The event continued with presentations from:

• Dr. dr. Verawati Sudarma, M. Gizi, Sp.GK, as Vice Dean I
• Dr. Erlani Kartadinata, Sp.M, as Vice Dean II
• Dr. Donna Adriani Kusumadewi M, M.Biomed. AIFO, as Vice Dean III
• Dr. Jihan Samira, M.Pd.Ked, SpMK, as Vice Dean IV

This was followed by a Q&A session, where parents were given the opportunity to ask questions directly to the faculty leadership and academic staff about the medical education process at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti. The event concluded with a campus tour, allowing parents to see the various facilities and services available at the Faculty of Medicine.

By the end of the event, it is hoped that the parents of the new students, Class of 2024, will have a better understanding of what their children will experience and how they can actively support their educational journey.
