The Faculty of Medicine (FK) and Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of Universitas Trisakti held a Halal Bihalal event on Thursday, April 18, 2024, as a manifestation of the spirit of togetherness and camaraderie. The event, held at the Auditorium of FK and FKG, brought together professors, students, alumni, and educational staff of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of Universitas Trisakti to share joy and seek forgiveness after Eid al-Fitr.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti, Dr. dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, in her speech expressed that the Halal Bihalal event is a moment to strengthen the bonds of camaraderie among the extended family of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of Universitas Trisakti.

“The Halal Bihalal event is a very valuable moment for all of us to forgive each other and strengthen the bonds of camaraderie among the extended family of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry within Universitas Trisakti. In this atmosphere of togetherness, we sincerely hope that we can open up to forgive each other and enhance the relationships that have been established over time to become a large family under the auspices of Universitas Trisakti,” said Dr. dr. Yenny, Sp. FK.

Echoing Dr. dr. Yenny, Sp.FK, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Trisakti, drg. Wiwiek Poedjiastoeti, Sp.BMM, Ph.D also expressed hope that through this event, the relationship between the two faculties will become even closer.

“Let us realize the Trikrama of Universitas Trisakti which is sharpen-care-nurture, devout-diligent-skilled, chivalrous-loyal-sportive, where we will respect each other, show empathy, and synergize for collective progress in line with the vision and mission of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of Universitas Trisakti. With that spirit, let us together celebrate the Halal Bihalal event; may the bonds of camaraderie between the two faculties and RSGMP continue to strengthen over time,” said drg. Wiwiek Poedjiastoeti, Sp.BMM, Ph.D.

The Halal Bihalal event also featured Quranic recitation and performances by students from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. In a familial atmosphere, the event participants also took time to pray together for the safety and well-being of all members of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of Universitas Trisakti, as well as for the nation and country.

This year’s Halal Bihalal event from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of Universitas Trisakti sends a strong message about the importance of solidarity and togetherness in facing challenges, as well as the spirit to continue contributing and benefiting society.
