Jakarta, October 15, 2025 — The Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti (FTI Usakti), held an Inauguration and Oath-Taking Ceremony for participants of the Professional Engineer Program (PSPPI) Batch IV, Even Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The ceremony, held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, marked a historic milestone for 55 new engineers who have officially earned the title of Engineer and are ready to contribute to the nation’s progress.

The solemn ceremony was attended by the university leadership, deans from various engineering faculties, the Secretary General of the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII), PII officials, heads of study programs within FTI, as well as PSPPI permanent lecturers consisting of both academics and industry practitioners.

The inauguration procession began with the presentation of sashes by the Vice Rector I, medal bestowal by the Rector, helmet presentation by the Secretary General of PII, and the handover of folders containing certificates and the Engineer’s Oath script by the Dean of FTI to the new engineer candidates. The event continued with the Engineer’s Oath-Taking Ceremony, led directly by Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA., IPU., ASEAN Eng., Rector of Universitas Trisakti.

In his remarks, Prof. Kadarsah expressed his appreciation and pride in the outstanding achievements of the Professional Engineer Program graduates. He emphasized that the graduates had undergone a long journey, gaining the knowledge and skills required to become part of an esteemed engineering community.

This achievement is a proud moment for the Faculty of Industrial Technology, as all participants of PSPPI FTI Usakti Batch IV successfully graduated on time. Furthermore, obtaining the Professional Engineer (IP) certification from PII represents a significant milestone that supports the issuance of the Engineer Registration Certificate (STRI)—a crucial step enabling Indonesian engineers to serve and contribute meaningfully to the nation.
