Faculty members and students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Universitas Trisakti, have contributed to the international program “Systematic Design for Health: Environmentally Sustainable Healthcare Facilities Resilient to Infectious Disease Outbreaks and Natural Hazards” for the Southeast Asia region.
This initiative is a collaborative effort between Universitas Trisakti (Indonesia), the World Health Organization (WHO), Techne WHO, KU Leuven (Belgium), Chiang Mai University (Thailand), and the Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia).
Conducted in a hybrid format over the course of one month—virtually in Indonesia from July 1–25, 2025, followed by in-person sessions in Thailand until August 6, 2025—this program saw Universitas Trisakti lecturer Raflis, S.T., M.T., serve as both a member of the Advisory Board and an instructor for the Indonesian delegation.
Two students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Universitas Trisakti—Raihan Fachri Bachmid (052002200021) and Shiva Nissatya (051002100049)—also took part, contributing to the development of guidelines and a prototype as input for the WHO.
This involvement reflects Universitas Trisakti’s strong commitment to supporting innovation and the advancement of sustainable healthcare systems at both regional and global levels.
